Mathematical interests: I work in Chern-Simons
theory, which is a field
of mathematics that blends low dimensional topology, mathematical
physics, geometry, and the theory of group representations.
I am also involved in mathematics competitions
such as the
mathematical Olympiads and the W.L. Putnam Mathematical Competition.
Jea-Pil Cho, whose dissertation can be found
here. (Jea graduated in August 2012
and is a faculty at Lane College.)
Shamon Almeida, whom I co-advise together with my colleague
Hongwei Wang, now at Texas A&M International.
