The Department of Mathematics and Statistics of Texas Tech University is pleased to host the Spring 2005 Central Section Meeting of the American Mathematical Society.  We welcome all participants to our department, our campus and our city.

REGISTRATION:  Registration for the meeting will be on site, in the first floor lobby of the Mathematics and Statistics Building on the campus of Texas Tech University, Friday April 8 and Saturday April 9.  There is no preregistration.  Information on rates will be available at the AMS website.

SPECIAL SESSIONS:  This conference includes 17 special sessions  on a wide variety of topics.  Information on these, including organizers and topics, is provided at the AMS website.  Schedule for these sessions and for the invited talks and the session for contributed papers will be provided closer to the date of the conference.

All special sessions, invited talks and contributed talks will occur in classrooms in buildings in the central part of the campus, in or in vicinity of the Mathematics Building. Specific location of each session is to be announced later.

RECEPTION:  There will be a reception for all conference participants Friday evening April 8, 2005, at a time and location to be announced.

DEADLINES:  Note the following critical deadlines.

December 21, 2004: Deadline for submitting abstracts for contributed papers for consideration in special sessions.

February 15, 2005:  Deadline for submitting abstracts for speakers invited by special session organizers or for talks in session of contributed papers. 

All abstracts should be submitted through the AMS website.
