Flying to Lubbock

Service to Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport (LBB) (opens in new tab) includes Southwest Airlines, Continental Airlines, and American Airlines. Available transportation service from the airport, located approximately 15 minutes from the conference hotels, includes Yellow Cab (806) 765-7777, Checker Cab (806) 771-8899, and A-1 Taxi Cab Service (432) 209-7900, as well as Uber or Lyft. Traditional cab fare to/from the airport is approximately $25. The conference hotel also provides airport shuttle service; please call Overton at (806) 776-7000.

Driving to Lubbock

Centrally located between Dallas, Texas, and Albuquerque, New Mexico, Interstate 27 connects Lubbock with two east-west interstate systems, I-20 and I-40. Parking: View campus visitor parking information (opens in new tab) . Both free and pay-to-park ($1.50/hr or $9/day) visitor spots are distributed throughout campus. During the weekend, parking is free in any spot not specifically marked as 24-hour reserved.

Staying in Lubbock

We expect that all rooms will be reserved at the Overton Hotel (information below). Please note that we have a limited number of rooms available at a special conference rate. Attendees interested in booking a room at this rate should register before Monday, April 3.
