The 45th meeting of the Texas Geometry and Topology Conference will be held
February 18-20, 2011 at Texas Tech University. There are no
registration fees, so everyone is welcome. However, please register by February
1, 2011 if you plan to attend so we can estimate the number of attendees.
TGTC is a prestigious event, held every Spring and Fall at one of the participating universities in Texas: the University of Texas at Austin, Texas A&M University, Rice University, Texas Christian University, University of Houston and Texas Tech University. On Feb 17, preceding the conference, Chuu-Lian Terng from the University of California at Irvine will deliver a TTU Departmental Colloquium talk. On Friday, Feb 18, there will be an informal reception at Dr. Mara Neusel's house after the first conference talk. All TGTC participants are welcome.
The conference is committed to the strengthening and enrichment of mathematics personnel. We will be able to offer some support for expenses. Graduate students, junior faculty, women, minorities, and persons with disabilities are especially encouraged to participate and to apply for support.
