FINANCIAL SUPPORT

The mini-symposium is primarily sponsored with the generous support from Prof. Frits Ruymgaart's Paul Whitfield Endowed Horn Professorship and by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. Horn Professor Sunanda D. Mitra is providing support for the CVIAL invited speaker. The National Science Foundation is providing travel support for junior participants. The material presented is based upon work partially supported by the National Science Foundation under Grant No. 0541993.


SOCIAL PROGRAM

On Saturday (November 19), a local sight-seeing tour is arranged to Palo Duro Canyon State Park , approximately two hours away from Lubbock. In this social session the participants, especially the graduate students and early-career researchers, will have the opportunity to visit and interact with the speakers in an informal atmosphere.


CONFERENCE FEES

There is NO registration fee for the conference. However, each participant will be charged a nominal amount of $35 towards the Conference Banquet, Lunch and Transportation to Palo Duro.
