MISSION
- To provide a forum for advancing the interface between geometry,
statistics and image analysis.
- To train individuals in interdisciplinary aspects of problem
solving
- To provide a forum for mathematical and statistical communities,
especially early-career researchers and graduate students to interact
with outstanding scholars and learn about new research venues and open
problems.
- To encourage women and under-represented minorities to pursue
careers in areas that bridge geometry, statistics and image
analysis.

- Dr. Hilary Thompson, Lousiana State
University, New Orleans. Dr. Thompson is member of the Biological
Computation and
Visualization Center at the Lousiana State University Eye Center. His
research concerns statistical analysis of hyperspectral biomedical
