Notes on purchasing a train ticket from Rome to Benevento. This note was created by Giovanna Pagnozzi - the program assistant for 2016.

Image of a validated train ticket in Italy. You DO NOT need to validate electronic tickets purchased online that have a date and time on them. While validating a ticket without date and time (for example, the Leonardo Express train from Rome Fiumicino airport to Roma Termini), insert the ticket firmly towards the left into the validating machine, wait until you hear the printing noise and then withdraw the ticket.
