Text: Advanced Calculus by Gerald B. Folland, Prentice Hall (2002). (See the author's list of errata)We will cover Chapters 1-3, parts of Chapters 4, 6 and selected topics in Chapters 7 and 8.

Grading and examination policies
Homework will be assigned and collected weekly (usually on every Monday). They will count for 25% of the grade. There will be two midterm exams in class during the semester and a final exam. Each midterm exam will count for 20% of the grade, the final exam for 35% of the grade.Homework assignments will be given in class and listed on the course webpage. Books, notes and calculators are not allowed during the exams. No late homework and no make-up exams.
Policy Change: The lowest homework score will be dropped. The lower midterm grade of the two midterms will be replaced by their average.
