Dana
C. Cox is
an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Miami University
where she teaches content courses for preservice teachers. Her research
interests are in the areas of curriculum design and student learning.
Joshua
Chesler is
an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at
California State University, Long Beach. His research interests include the
preparation and content knowledge of K-12 mathematics teachers.
Mary
Beisiegel is
an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Oregon State
University. Her research interests are in secondary and post-secondary teacher
preparation, as well as professional development for mathematics teachers at
all levels.
Rachael H. Kenney is an Assistant Professor at Purdue
University with a joint appointment in the Department of Mathematics and
Department of Curriculum and Instruction. She earned Ph.D in
Mathematics Education from North Carolina State University. Her research
focuses onstudent and teacher symbol sense, use of technology for working with
symbolic expressions in mathematics, and students' and teachers' anticipatory
and reflective practices in learning and teaching mathematics.
Jill
Newton is
an Assistant Professor in Mathematics Education at Purdue University where she
teaches mathematics methods courses and graduate-level mathematics education
courses. She earned her Ph.D. from Michigan State University. Her
research focuses on secondary mathematics education and teacher education curriculum.
Jamalee
Stone is
an Associate Professor in the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences at
Black Hills State University where she teaches pedagogy courses for pre-service
teachers. Her research interests include instructional technology use and
differentiated instruction.
