Jane M Wilburne is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education at Penn State Harrisburg where she teaches mathematics methods courses, elementary mathematics content courses and graduate courses in mathematics education. Her research interests include pre-service teachers’ problem-solving abilities and integrating literature in mathematics lessons to promote problem-solving opportunities.

Mary Napoli is an Assistant Professor of Reading and Children’s Literature at Penn State Harrisburg where she teaches both undergraduate and graduate literacy courses. Her research interests include integrating children’s literature into various disciplines and multicultural literature.
