Robert F. Cunningham is a professor in the Mathematics & Statistics Department at The College of New Jersey, where he teaches mathematics content and methods courses.  He holds an Ed.D. from Temple University in Secondary Mathematics Education, a M.A. from Villanova University in Mathematics, and a B.A. from LaSalle University in Mathematics. His research interests include the teaching and learning of elementary and secondary mathematics.

 

Kimberly N. Cook is a student at The College of New Jersey, where she will be earning her B.S. in Elementary Education with a concentration in iSTEM in May 2020. She co-authored this paper as an undergraduate student. Kimberly is also contributing to another research project analyzing Project-Based Learning (PBL) with the intent of enabling the implementation of PBL by pre-service and in-service teachers.
