Dr. Suriza van der Sandt is an assistant professor, in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at The College of New Jersey, with a Ph. D in Mathematics Education from the Potchefstroom University in South Africa.� She currently teaches both content and methodology courses to prospective elementary and middle school teachers. Her research interests include the teaching and learning of Geometry, teacher preparation and mathematics anxiety.
