Ljerka Jukić Matić, PhD, is higher teaching assistant at Department of Mathematics in University of Osijek, Croatia.  She teaches mathematics methods courses for secondary school pre-service teachers. Her current research interests include mathematics education of engineering students and preparation of school teachers.

Franka Miriam Brueckler, PhD, is assistant professor at the Department of Mathematics in University of Zagreb, Croatia. Her current research interests include mathematics education and history of mathematics. She is particularly active in popularization of mathematics, with numerous workshops, talks, performances, articles and other types of presentation. She is vice-chair of the Committee for Raising Public Awareness of Mathematics of the European Mathematical Society
