The 21st Emmy Noether day will be on Thursday May 9, 2024 on the Texas Tech campus. The event schedule is below, along with workshop descriptions and panelist biographies.

10:00-10:50 Student Workshops
Students can choose one of five mathematical workshops. You can read about the topics here.
Dr. Brock Williams and Carol Williams will lead a teachers-only workshop on geometry.

Team competition to solve math problems in probability and combinatorics, with small prizes to winning teams!
Contest led by Dr. Angela Peace.

Getting here

Buses can drop students on Memorial Circle, in front of the Math building. They can park in a Texas Tech commuter lot (TBA) and return to Memorial Circle at the end of the day.

We will provide a map as the event approaches.
