The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas is accepting applications for tenure-track assistant professor positions beginning in the Fall 2007 semester.
Higher level appointments are possible in exceptional cases. For some positions, priority will be given to candidates in the area of statistics. For other positions all areas will be considered.
Candidates whose research interests complement existing departmental areas or have excellent potential for interdisciplinary collaboration are especially encouraged to apply.
Strong promise or accomplishment in teaching and scholarly activity and a Ph. D. or equivalent degree at the time of appointment are required.
