- Ronald M. Anderson
- Benjamin S. Duran
- Gordon Fuller
- Patrick Odell
- Hermann Reynolds
- SIAM
- John T. White
Also, the Graduate School usually awards five Chancellors Fellowships to our department in the amount of $5,000 per year. Application deadlines are January 1 for fall awards and May 1 for spring awards.
Graduate Teaching Assistantships (GTA)
The majority of our graduate students are funded through part time Graduate Teaching Assistantships (GTA). The beginning stipend for the 2011-2012 academic year is $15,700. All students in good standing are provided support for the two summer sessions. Out-of-state tuition is waived and excellent medical benefits are provided. Generally, GTA's are required to teach 2 lower level, undergraduate courses once they have accrued 18 graduate credit hours. If graduate students do not have classroom teaching responsibilities, they are given grading duties or leadership of course homework sessions. If you are interested in a GTA, please submit the form below.
